The £140 000 BMS project for the OCS stand at the Brit Oval cricket ground was carried out by Integrated Control Systems.
The £140 000 contract to design and install a building-management system for the OCS stand at the Brit Oval cricket ground in London was carried out by Integrated Control Systems. The contract was awarded by Hilton Building Services. ICS designed a Tridium server software-based system to monitor and control plant and equipment serving the England, India and Australia suites, four more suites and 15 executive boxes. The contract included the control of equipment in kitchens on the first and second floors, offices on the ground and third floors, an education centre, first-aid room, toilets, bars, serveries and catering areas, a food-preparation area on the fourth floor and cellars. The LON-based system operates via a host computer in the events offices and features LONworks universal network controllers in 14 motor-control panels. Installed plant includes air-handling units, extract fans, boilers, chillers, heat-recovery units and hot-water system.
