Colt Group has reported record turnover for 2005. Turnover reached £105 million, and the order book increased by 8.5%, The UK operation grew by 21%, with a significant increase in profit. Chief executive Gerard van Haren says, ‘A substantial part of our profit has been put towards business-development expenses incurred in implementing our strategy of controlled growth and in developing new products such as Caloris for the internal climate control of buildings and Cyclone for car-park ventilation.’ Based on this success, Colt International UK is appointing three new area managers.

More refrigerant bans possible, says government
