Cast-aluminium heat exchangers feature in boilers from Clyde Combustions offering outputs of 80 to 630 kW.
Boilers with cast-aluminium heat exchangers from Clyde Combustions deliver outputs from 80 to 630 kW. Modulex and Super Modulex boilers are pre-assembled floor-standing units with pre-mix modulating burners that turn down to 30%. Modulex boilers are built up from 40 kW sections to give total outputs from 80 to 280 kW. Super Modulex boilers comprise 90 kW sections to give maximum outputs from 360 to 630 kW. Water and gas connections can be made from either side. The flue connection can be on the back or either side. The back of the boiler can be as close as 40 cm to the wall. These boilers are quiet — at around 50 dB(A) and come with an electronic control system that is programmed to meet central-heating and hot-water needs.
