Understanding renewable energy

Mitsubishi Electric is hosting a series of CPD-approved seminars to help consultants and contractors understand the issues surrounding the requirement for renewable energy that will dominate building and planning permission in the future. Topics include : life-cycle costs — the true cost of building; carbon-dioxide emissions — how to calculate and reduce; control systems — the impact on energy use and reducing carbon-dioxide emissions; renewable technologies, including a live demonstration of ground source. Engineering services alliance welcomes retentions reporting legislation

Engineering services alliance Actuate UK has warmly welcomed the new secondary legislation which will require reporting of cash retentions held by the large construction companies under the Reporting Regulations.
