Automatic air volume control

Trox
Trox’s automatic answer for controlling air volume — the VFL unit.
The need to adjust flow rates in ventilation and air-conditioning systems is eliminated by an automatic controller from Trox (UK) The VFL can be adjusted on site in a few moments and has a differential-pressure range of 30 to 300 Pa. It can be used at diffusers to replace manually operated volume control dampers or volume control blades. It comprises a control unit, including the mechanical components of damper, bridge, bellow and leaf spring, surrounded by a sheath tube to protect moveable components. The unit is factory set to a reference volume flow. To change the setting on site, the control unit is pulled out of the sheath tube and adjusted with the aid of a special screwdriver.
