An education in energy efficiency

A new brochure explains how a CentraLine heating control system can greatly reduce a school’s heating costs — and also provide a valuable classroom resource to teach energy efficiency. Using a web browser, pupils can see how CentraLine is controlling the indoor environment for comfort while avoiding using more fuel than necessary by not heating unused rooms, preventing overheating and varying the boiler start-up time according to the weather. A web browser can also be used by staff to prepare a schedule of rooms that will be used on each day of the week and the times they will be used. Staff can also change conditions instantly as required.
