Achieving 10% renewables in design and practice

Invaluable guidance on the integration of renewable-energy sources at a early stage in the design of a building is provided by CIBSE’s TM38 publication — ‘Renewable energy sources for buildings’. It is aimed at developers, designers, and building owners. and is supported by a simple software tool that can be used to give an indication of the most promising low- or zero-carbon (LZC) energy solutions. Used together, the printed guidance and software tool give an effective insight into which LZC energy sources may integrate successfully into a building.
