Colt increases capabilities of Caloris system

The capabilities of Colt’s Caloris system for heating and cooling has been extended with a new larger unit.
Colt International’s has added a larger size to its Caloris range of low-noise horizontal concealed units to heat and cool larger spaces. The new Size 7 unit delivers 7.5 kW of cooling with an EER of 4.2. Noise level is NR36 in a semi-reverberant room, and a unit is just 339 mm high. Individual units in a Caloris WRF system provide cooling and heating by rejecting heat into a water loop or extracting heat from that loop. The water is carried in two uninsulated pipes and provides an effective means of transferring energy between indoor units. There is less than 3 kg of HFC refrigerant in the indoor units, so they do not come within the scope of the ‘F’-gas regulations.
