Greenwood Airvac enlarges ventilation range

Greenwood Airvac has introduced two new ventilation products. Fusion is a heat-recovery system designed for dwellings up to 100 m2. It provides balanced airflow, with heat recovery. Unity is said to be the first ventilation unit of its kind that can be installed on the wall or the ceiling in bathrooms and kitchens. Its fan consumes only 2 W, compared with 25 to 30 W for typical extract fans.

More refrigerant bans possible, says government

The government could tighten up the rules that restrict the use of global warming refrigerant gases including speeding up phase-out programmes and introducing new bans, according to a spokesman from the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (DEFRA).
