HRP hosting R22 seminars

A series of free seminars on the phase out of R22 as a refrigerant is being run by wholesaler HRP. Over half of refrigerant used in the UK is R22. Production will be dramatically reduced by December 2009 and from 2012 the use of virgin R22 and refrigerants based on R22 will be banned. These half-day seminars will cover alternatives and the preparations the industry should make to ensure a smooth changeover. Speakers include Barry Lyons, BOC business development manager. The seminars will also look at applications and case studies and feature information on Isceon and DuPont refrigerants. There will also be the opportunity to ask questions about the introduction of the F-gas Regulation and how it will affect refrigerant handling. The seminars will be held at HRP service centres across the UK. To reserve a place contact your local HRP services centre.
