Parkersell delivers electrical services for University of Wales

As part of the upgrading of halls of residence at the University of Wales Aberystwyth, Parkersell is rewiring the halls and inspecting and testing the fixed wiring. Parkersell is also carrying out emergency-lighting work. Qualified engineers will make a complete visual inspection of installations, checking for broken or cracked sockets, damage to cable trunking, missing lids, loose switches, loose cables, overloaded connection to fuse boards, incorrectly sized fuses, incoming supply cables, correctly market fuse boards and compliance with BS 7671. Parkersell’s electrical inspection and testing division consists of 16 fully qualified NICEIC qualifying managers and 68 inspection and test engineers — making it one of the largest such workforces in the UK.
