Daikin adds ceiling-suspended unit to VRV II range

A 4-way blow fan-coil unit for areas without false ceilings has been added to its VRV II range by Daikin.
Daikin has added a 4-way-blow ceiling-suspended air-conditioning unit to its R410A VRV II series of fan-coil units. The FXUQ range is available in three sizes with cooling capacities from 7.1 to 12.5 kW and heating from 7.7 to 14 kW. They can be used in rooms up to 3.5 m high. Sound levels range from 18 to 33 dB(A). These units are designed for areas without ceiling voids. Features include group control with other VRV II units, prevention of cold draughts during hot start-up, defrost and oil return in heating capabilities. One or two corner flaps can be closed off for corner installation. Air can be discharged at five different angles from 0 to 60°.
