A smoking booth that can accommodate three people and requires only connection to a mains socket has been developed by Carrier Holland Heating. Called Ecarb, it can be used in all kinds of public and private work environments, including hospitals, local authorities, restaurants and pubs and clubs. The open cabin has an induction exhaust ceiling. The triple-filtration ventilation system returns clean, odour-free air to the space. Ecarb is available in a range of colours and can be customised to fit into existing work spaces.

More refrigerant bans possible, says government
