Extractor fans are even quieter

Helios fan
Very low sound levels are a key feature of the QuietVent range of centrifugal fans from Helios.
The Helios QuietVent range of fans for bathrooms, ensuites and cloakrooms are claimed to be up to 10 dB(A) quieter than any other product available in the UK. These fans can be installed flush on on a wall. There is a wide range of coloured fascias, including a marble effect. Sound level from the 75 mm fan is below 34 dB(A) a metre away from the 60 m3/h flush-fitted model. They are fire rated at 90 minutes. Installation is simply by pressing in and fixing using bayonet plug; there is no need for bolts. The need for a filter cleaning is indicated by a light in the fascia. The filter can be accessed by flipping up the fascia. A model with a PIR sensor provides ventilation as soon as someone enters the room. heliosfans@aol.com
