Hot off the presses is the news that Kimpton Building Services has installed comfort cooling and ventilation at the Knowsley printing works of News International.
Kimpton Building Services has completed a new installation to provide comfort cooling and ventilation at the Merseyside site of News International, designing and installing a new air-conditioning system as part of a new production office suite. The company has a long association with News International, having been retained as the site’s sole provider of planned preventive maintenance for 10 years, with regular maintenance checks on all the boiler and air-conditioning equipment. The 220 m2 open-plan and cellular space will be used for print production meetings at the site in Knowsley and will be heated and cooled by a Mitsubishi VRF R2 systems. The site has eight presses printing national daily and Sunday newspapers, including the News of the World, The Sun, The Times and The Sunday Times.
