Pump manufacturer KSB has announced the arrival of its new mini-Compacta lifting unit, designed for a wide variety of applications. Suitable for use with domestic water supply, sanitation and drainage as well as in building-services situations such as heating, air conditioning and ventilation, the mini-Compacta offers all the functions of a much larger unit with what KSB believes to be the smallest lifting unit made to EN12050-1 currently on the market. The mini-Compacta features a control unit to detect cable rupture, short circuit and sensor failure. It also includes a mains-independent, rechargeable battery alert facility.
