Elastomeric expansion joints absorb all movements in pipework

posiflex
All types of movement in pipework can be absorbed by Crane’s PosiFlex elastomeric expansion joints.
Crane’s PosiFlex full-bore elastomeric expansion joints can accommodate all types of movement in pipework — axial expansion and contraction, lateral, angular, torsional and vibrational — simultaneously and without embrittlement or fatigue. Large pipe movements are absorbed with minimal face-to-face dimensions. The capabilities of these joints mean that fewer are required. their low spring rates reduce the stress on the pipework system. Posiflex joints provide an effective means of reducing noise and vibration. Unlike metal expansion bellows, they resist corrosion and erosion. For pipework that is not anchored, Crane can provide control units with a rod assembly to limit end thrust in the joint and minimise possible damage from excessive movements of the pipeline to the joint and other installed equipment. The range of elastomers includes EPDM, Neoprene, chlorobutyl, nitrile, Viton, Hypalon and natural rubber.

Baxi research suggests schools strongly support heat decarbonisation

A survey conducted by Baxi of 200 state school estates managers, consultant engineers and M&E contractors has found that while enthusiasm for Net Zero and support for low carbon heating systems in schools is thriving, persistent barriers remain.
