Construction regulations

The Construction Confederation has published a definitive DVD guide to help the industry cope with the changes to the Construction (Design & Management) Regulations (CDM 1007). The biggest changes are for clients and for the new dutyholder, the CDM co-ordinator. The contractor community’s main changes will be in what they can expect from clients, designers and CDM co-ordinators and clarification of duties to co-operate and to co-ordinate, including worker consultation and engagement. The key aim of CDM2007 is to integrate health and safety into the management of the project and to encourage everyone involved to work together. The DVD costs £65 (plus VAT).
