Heating and cooling for guest rooms in the new Dakota Forthbridge Hotel near Edinburgh are provided by a Daikin VRV heat-recovery system.
Contributing to the comfort of guests in the Dakota Forthbridge Hotel near Edinburgh is a top-of-the-range Daikin VRV heat-recovery air-conditioning system. The development cost £15 million and has 130 New York loft apartment style guest bedrooms and two suites. They are heated and cooled by FXDQ slim-line duct-mounted fan-coil units to achieve a design temperature of 23°C. Larger duct-mounted FXSQ fan-coil units supply conditioned air to the Dakota Grill restaurant. 4-way-blow FXZQ ceiling-cassette units serve the gymnasium and front office. A single FTKS wall-mounted split is located in the communications room on the ground-floor. Services were designed by RSP of Edinburgh, and the air conditioning was installed by Daikin D1 installer Denco Air Conditioning of East Kilbride.
