Central heating control specialist Horstmann Controls has introduced a new and upgraded range of its ZonePlus motorised zone and diverter valves that combine proven electronic controls technology with the latest Horstmann design features. New features on the ZonePlus Two range are neon indicators to show central-heating/hot-water flow (3-port version) and the on/off function (2-port version). Other features include rugged engineering, a 2-year no-quibble guarantee, proven fittings for easy installation and maintenance and a new quick-change actuator feature. There are now four models in this competitively priced and extended range.

More refrigerant bans possible, says government

The government could tighten up the rules that restrict the use of global warming refrigerant gases including speeding up phase-out programmes and introducing new bans, according to a spokesman from the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (DEFRA).
