GAH improves its Dualstream domestic-hot-water system
Combing the benefits of high flow rates and the use of renewable energy — GAH Heating’s improved Dualstream system.
GAH Heating has improved its Dualstream unvented hot-water system with the addition of its patented water-control system. The stainless-steel unvented components of the Dualstream system can be connected to a boiler in the normal way, and the secondary coil works with solar panels or ground-source heat pumps to minimise water-heating costs and reduce carbon emissions. Dualstream can boost the flow of hot and cold water in properties with more than one bathroom or where the incoming mains water flow is as low as 9 l/min. An accumulator vessel stores mains water at incoming pressure, and this stored water becomes the engine that drives the hot and cold outlets to deliver more water than would be available from a normal unvented system. When taps are turned on, water in the accumulator vessel enhances the incoming main, which feeds both cylinder and cold supply to the rest of the property.
