Axair changes name to Walter Meier

Axair Climate is changing its name to Walter Meier (Climate Solutions) Ltd. The change takes effect on 1 January 2008 and is the new name for all companies in the Walter Meier Holdings Group. The move is intended to provide greater recognition of the complementary areas of expertise within the group and the synergies between them. ‘Our new common identity is about more than just sharing a name; it is about sharing our strengths and expertise to provide innovative solutions that meet the ongoing needs of our customers,’ explained CEO Silvan Meier. ‘As building technologies change and building services work more closely with each other and with the fabric of the building, it is the integrated technologies with Walter Meier that will deliver the solutions our customers are looking for.’ In the immediate future, Axair Climate customers will see little change on a day-to-day basis, and their usual contacts and contact number will remain the same. In the longer term, the closer integration of Walter Meier companies will lead to an ever-evolving product range offering more innovation, wider choice and increasingly good value.
