SWEP plate heat exchangers are now available in the UK from Bitzer

Bitzer is now stocking and distributing SWEP heat exchangers for air-conditioning and refrigeration applications. These plate heat exchangers are typically up to just a tenth the size of shell-and-tube heat exchangers. Applications include HVAC systems and heat recovery. Industry urged to see Clean Heat Market Mechanism target as opportunity

The UK government has confirmed that the next phase of the Clean Heat Market Mechanism (CHMM) will set an 8% target for the proportion of heat pumps to fossil fuel boiler sales.
