SWEP plate heat exchangers are now available in the UK from Bitzer

Bitzer is now stocking and distributing SWEP heat exchangers for air-conditioning and refrigeration applications. These plate heat exchangers are typically up to just a tenth the size of shell-and-tube heat exchangers. Applications include HVAC systems and heat recovery. More refrigerant bans possible, says government

The government could tighten up the rules that restrict the use of global warming refrigerant gases including speeding up phase-out programmes and introducing new bans, according to a spokesman from the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (DEFRA).
