Split air conditioning can reuse existing pipework

Updating air-conditioning systems is made simpler using Toshiba’s Digital Inverter 3 split systems, which can reuse R22 or R407C pipework.
Existing pipework for R22 or R407C refrigerant can be reused with a new installation of Toshiba Air Conditioning’s Digital Inverter 3 (DI3), the third generation of its inverter-controlled split air-conditioning systems. When used with 4-way cassettes, these heat-pump systems achieve Class A EERs and COPs. A new system can be installed while the building is occupied. High mesh filters and stable lubricants protect the new equipment. Replacement still involves effective flushing of the system using best practice, and all refrigerant-handling procedures must be adhered to. The range of indoor units includes the new A-class 4-way cassettes, compact 4-way cassettes, ducted, high-wall, under-ceiling or flexi units. The cassettes are 20% more efficient than the previous model. Compressors use the latest variable-speed hybrid inverter technology, so they are extremely reliable and very quiet. Other enhancements over previous models include advanced compression channels and coil and high-precision balanced fans.
