Beam detector complies with three standards

Compliant with key standards — the Fireray 5000 beam-type smoke detection system.
A beam-type smoke detection system from Fire Fighting Enterprises is certified as compliant with EN54:12, CPD and LPCB standards. The F5000 incorporates the Easifit first-fix system and a visual laser alignment aid to ease installation. Once fitted, an automated, motorised beam-optimisation process ensures the infra-red beam is always adjusted for maximum efficiency and functionality. Beam-type smoke detectors can cover much larger areas than traditional point-type sensors, so they can cover larger areas with far fewer units. A single F5000 unit can cover 1500 m2, compared with around 15 point detectors for the same job. A system is controlled, and can be customised, from ground level using a system controller connected by a 2-wire cable.
