Johnson Controls enhances its range of building solutions

Johnson Controls has introduced to the European market a range of total building solutions for operating buildings effectively and efficiently. The XRM (eXtended Room Management) system is an integrated solution for the hotel and hospitality market. A graphic interface enables operators to manage rooms and common areas, monitor status and alarms, control air conditioning and lighting, manage access control and badges for guests and staff, and respond to emergency conditions quickly and easily. The XRM helps optimise energy savings, and control access in every room. The Metasys system with ready-access portal extends the Metasys concept by making typical tasks and key functions accessible through a more intuitive navigation process. The Metasys product line includes overall control of facilities, energy management and integration capabilities powered by web services. Using the ready-access portal, large sites can scale up to a hundred concurrent users and include targeted views for building tenants. The ready-access portal is available on a PC or handheld platforms running a web browser — wired or wireless.
