Industry pledges support for RAC09 exhibition

RAC09
RAC09 is building on the success of the 2007 event with support from five major industry associations.
Five major trade associations are supporting RAC09 at the NEC from 24 to 26 February 2009 and being promoted as the premier event for low-carbon cooling solutions. The Federation of Environmental Trade Associations (FETA) is endorsing the event, alongside the British Refrigeration Association (BRA), the Institute of Refrigeration (IOR), the Heating & Ventilating Contractors’ Association (HVCA) and the London Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Society. This support will help provide visitors with information on the environmental issues facing the sector and related changes to sustainable technology, legislation and regulations. These associations will promote the event to respective member companies and the industry at large. They will also help to compile the event’s seminar and skills-centre programme, providing speakers, content and advice on key presentation topics — especially low-carbon-cooling issues. RAC07 attracted 8390 visitors. RAC09 will continue to be co-located with H&V, the industry event for the heating-and-ventilating sector. Visitors will again be able to move freely between the two events, although they will remain separate shows with their own distinct and very individual identities.
