Programmable room thermostat offers host of features

Combining the functions of thermostat and sophisticated control of heating and hot water, Danfoss Randall’s TP9000
Danfoss Randall’s TP9000 universal programmable room thermostat incorporates an additional channel to control domestic hot water. They are preset at the factory to provide energy-saving chrono-proportional control as standard but can also provide on/off control if required. These controllers replace the well known TP9. Up to six room temperatures can be set per day, with exact times when they are to occur. The DHW channel offers up to three timed periods a day. The TP9000 can operate in three modes — 7-day, 5/2-day or 24-hour. Standard programs are pre-set to save time. Change from GMT to BST is automatic. There is a DHW-only mode for summer operation and optional optimum start. A room temperature sensor can be mounted up to 50 m from the controller, and the room-temperature can be temporarily over-ridden up and down. Other features include a boost of one, two and three hours and a information button for quick viewing of the next timed event. The TP9000 can also be set to give a reminder that the boiler is due to be serviced.
