Waterwise Marque for waterless urinal

Armitage Shanks’s Aridian waterless urinal has been awarded the Waterwise Marque for products that highlight water efficiency or reduce water wastage. This waterless urinal uses a cartridge filled with perfumed liquid to trap particles, prevent new odours and also prevent foul air rising from the drain into the washroom. The cartridge requires replacing every three months. Test are said to have shown a significantly lower bacterial count on the bowl of a waterless urinal than in the flush variety. Each Aridian urinal saves an average of 87 m3 of water a year
