Thermal imaging comes down in price

Cost-effective thermal imaging — Flir’s i5 infrared camera.
Flir’s i5 infrared camera for thermal imaging costs less than £1990 and has a wide range of applications in identifying and locating faults in buildings. This camera can be used to find leaks in underfloor heating systems, overloaded electrical circuits and missing insulation. The location of the fault can be found accurately, reducing wasted effort. Before-and-after documentation can be produced to prove the fault has been put right. Its JPG images carry all necessary temperature data and can be stored on a built-in SD card or transferred to a PC for analysis or e-mail.
