Outdoor unit for smaller VRF systems is smaller and quieter

LG’s Multi V Mini single-phase outdoor unit for smaller VRF air-conditioning applications is said to have a 46% smaller footprint and 52% smaller volume than conventional units of equivalent capacity. Noise levels are also said to be up to 5 dB(A) less. Removing the front panel exposes all serviceable electrical and refrigeration components. Field piping can enter these outdoor units in four different ways. Up to nine indoor units can be connected to a single outdoor unit, with a maximum 130% indoor-unit connection ratio. The choice of indoor units includes wall mounted, cassettes, floor standing, ducted and the Art Cool series. These units can be used with LG’s range of V-net control options.
