Inviron school contract includes ground-source heat pumps

Inviron is working on a contract to install the complete M&E services for South Bank Sixth Form College in Litherland, Merseyside. The project includes 60 boreholes, each 100 m deep, to serve ground-source heat pumps to heat and cool the building. Working alongside main contractor Rok, Inviron is fitting out this modern school building with air-conditioning, natural ventilation, underfloor heating, lighting, LV distribution and small-power services.

More refrigerant bans possible, says government
