Wiring system cuts luminaire installation time

Light work of connecting lighting fittings —Cooper Lighting & Security’s Connect wiring system.
A time-saving wiring system for lighting fittings from Cooper LIghting & Security uses GST 4-pole self-locking connectors. They can be connected and disconnected under load and have a maximum rating of 16 A. This approach also simplifies future changes to lighting schemes. Fittings are linked using a Connect prefabricated lead consisting of a T connector and a 3 or 5 m length of cable with a plug at each end. The cable is low-smoke, zero-halogen. Any of Cooper’s Crompton range of modular recessed luminaires can be specified with an integral panel-mounted socket to make it compatible with the Connect wiring system.
