Fire and acoustic protection for electrical boxes in walls

Tenmat has devised a simple approach to providing fire protection for electrical switch or socket boxes in fire and/or acoustically rated walls. It is a fibrous inset that is preformed to fit inside a dryline box in just a few seconds. They have been tested for up to 2 h protection in both plastic and metals boxes and provide excellent acoustic performance.
