Carrier Corporation buys UK controls company

Carrier Corporation has acquired Concord Controls of Birmingham, one of the UK’s leading independent building controls companies. Concord is a dealer and specialist integrator for Automatic Logic Corporation and has embraced new technology in the controls industry and implements products from different manufacturers into the markets. Obafemi Gboyega, managing director of Carrier in the UK, says, ‘This is an opportunity to deliver even greater value to our customers. Carrier and Concord will work closely to ensure design, engineering, installation and commissioning is completed efficiently, and that building-management systems are selected with emphasis on ease of control and energy savings to meet our customer needs.’
