SES combines both M&E services in single module

prefab modules
Prefabricated modules combining both mechanical and electrical services are being installed for the first time by SES at the flagship Education Development in Darlington. The school will have pupils from nursery to seniors, including special-educational needs and PMLD children. Michael Dickinson, project engineer with SES, says, ‘This is the first time SES have managed to combine mechanical and electrical services on a pre-fabricated module. SES have been installing modularised pipework systems for some years. However, it is usually difficult to combine both the M&E services onto the same module. This particular project gave us the opportunity to do so.’ The main contractor is Kajima Construction Europe, with M&E design by Desco.
