Merlin helps Inviron secure power integrity in Canary Wharf

Merlin Power Management
The reliability of major electrical equipment serving the Harbour Exchange building in Canary Wharf has been enhanced by maintenance work carried out by Merlin Power Management.

Merlin Power Management has maintained generators, HV transformers, LV switchgear and air circuit breakers at the Harbour Exchange building of Land Securities in Canary Wharf. The contract was awarded by Inviron.

The annual servicing work was carried out at weekends to avoid disruption to companies occupying the building.

Neil Johnson, general manager of Inviron’s London business centre, says, ‘Merlin has worked with us for four years, and we have been pleased with their reliable and quality service. We had no hesitation in once again awarding them the contractor to carry out power maintenance on this important contract.’

This approach to maintenance reduces downtime and improves equipment reliability because damaged or worn components are identified before they cause premature failures.
