Riello develops efficiency rating for UPSs

Riello UPS has developed a rating system to help IT managers select the most efficient uninterruptible power system for their installation.

Each Riello UPS above 3 kVA has an ECO Energy Level rating from 1 to 6 (most energy efficient). The ratings take into account operational efficiency in full on-line mode and the availability of a Smart-mode option — an intelligent economy mode with efficiency approaching 98%.
