One-stop shop for low-carbon and renewable technology
Broag Remeha has set up a renewables department to advise on its energy-saving products and low- to zero-carbon technologies. The department will be developed as a centre of excellence for renewables in the business and have the expertise to support the main sales teams and manage high-level technology projects from design to installation.
The department is run by Dave Hardwick, UK renewables manager (right in photo) and Dave Hart, renewables manager north (left) and Vivien Sergeant, who is office based.
The department will focus on low-carbon and NOx condensing boilers and biomass boilers. Plans for other products include solar thermal and ground-source heat pumps.
Mark Northcott, commercial sales director, says, ‘Renewables already make up more than 10% of our business, and we forecast that this will increase to as much as 25% in the next two years. Our aim is to integrate a wide portfolio of energy-saving and sustainable products into a one-stop shop. This will allow us to act as an honest broker, advising on the most appropriate mix of low-carbon energy-efficient technology on a project-by-project basis.’
