Multi-beam fire detector

Fire Fighting enterprises

Fire Fighting Enterprises’ multi-head FireRay 5000 allows up to four beam detectors to be installed as one system — with just one control unit for all four heads. There are considerable savings to be made in time and cost of installation, wiring and power supply.

The new unit incorporates all the features of the standard FireRay 5000, such as automatic, motorised alignment and optimisation. The four beams can be space out or oriented to cover areas with an unorthodox shape. Each beam will often be used to cover a distance less than the maximum 100 m, requiring the use of multiple heads for efficient area coverage.

FireRay 5000 is said to be the only motorised beam detector to be certified by the LCPB.
