Clyde Energy Systems is admitted to Charterhouse

The wide range of buildings on the site of Charterhouse School are having their heating systems upgraded with condensing boilers from Clyde Energy Solutions.

Charterhouse School near Godalming in Surrey is upgrading its entire heating system with high-efficiency units from Clyde Energy Solutions. So far 11 CG wall-hung condensing boilers have been installed to heat a range of buildings, including teaching blocks, boarding houses and the theatre. They have outputs from 60 to 100 kW.

The boilers are linked to the school’s integrated energy-management system, which allows central control and local over-rides to optimise energy consumption.

The school has over 700 pupils, nearly all boarders. The buildings are spread over an extensive site, so a large number of ‘local’ boilers is required. The CG condensing boilers provide the school with a reliable, energy-efficient solution that combines low energy consumption with low water content for fast heat up.
