A proactive partnership with heat-pump installers – Garry Broadbent.

Over 150 installers of heat pumps have joined the official partner installer scheme of ICS Heat Pump Technology in the first eight months of it having been set up. ICS provides air-source, ground-source and geothermal heat pumps and is based in Blackpool.

The ICS heat-pump partner programme is a professional scheme devised, delivered and managed by ICS. It is designed to assist companies involved in heating-specification services to understand heat-pump technology be fully aware of all the various heat-pump options available to them and maximise the business opportunities of this growing heating technology.

Gary Broadbent of ICS Heat Pump Technology explains, ‘We identified a physical gap in the flow of information regarding heat pumps from the manufacturers, who had a great deal of technical information, to the end user who was unsure of the technology and needed to know more and wanted to talk to people in the trade. The partner scheme has bridged this gap by providing installers with all the information they need to speak to other businesses or households about the heat-pump concept.

‘Our proactive approach in supporting our partners with regard to both marketing and technical support shows that we will go that much further to help our partners develop their own businesses.’
