Cavendish helps Shell to go greener

As part of Shell’s commitment to reduce carbon footprint in its retail sector by 40%, Coteba has appointed Cavendish Engineers to survey 85 Shell service stations in the UK. Coteba is the leading project manager for Shell’s 3-year green-site programme, and Cavendish is helping to complete the UK target.

Cavendish will use the green-sites programme survey tools to survey sites and develop a retro-fit specification. The company will also identify areas where energy can be reduced significantly. Areas for development include LED illumination under canopies and re-engineering of air-conditioning systems.
