Single detector for smoke, heat and carbon monoxide

ADT

ADT Fire & Security’s 3oTec detector combines optical-smoke, carbon-monoxide and heat detection in a single device for use with the company’s MZX technology. This combination provides reliable and early detection of fire and immunity to false alarms. It can also detect leaks of carbon monoxide from domestic appliances.

Data is transmitted digitally to the control panel’s fire algorithms, which can determine the relationship and values between each medium to confirm individual events as a real fire or reject them as a false alarm.

These detectors can be installed with most cable types and are suitable for retrofitting.
