Lindab Safe system reaches Kent

Lindab

The Kent branch of Lindab Ventilation at Northfleet now stocks the Lindab self-sealing range of circular ductwork fittings. Safe and the recently introduced Safe Click version now account for over 35% of Lindab sales in this sector. As a result, more and more branches in the company’s 30-strong national distribution network maintain stocks of Safe for immediate collection or delivery.

The Safe system comprises a complete range of pre-sealed components to create a circular ductwork system with minimum leakage in the shortage possible time. Recent tests by BSRIA showed that Safe halved assembly time and cost 20% less compared to the traditional approach. There were also major savings in air leakage. At a static duct pressure of 500 Pa, the leakage from the Safe ductwork was over 40% of that from a system constructed from traditional components.
