Acoustic panels reduce noise reverberation

BASF has developed a system for quickly improving room acoustics with little effort. It is based on Abacustica panels that can be mounted on walls to absorb sound and reduce reverberation. In rooms with a high level of reverberation, people have to talk louder and louder to overcome it.

Applications include schools. The system has been used in a kindergarten in Germany to more than halve reverberation time by fitting sound absorbers to the ceiling and walls. Installation took just a day.
