Gilberts develops new range of linear diffusers

Gilberts Blackpool, linear diffusers

Gilberts has launched a new range of linear diffusers following 12 months of research and development. The MBD series of multi-blade linear diffusers complements existing rectangular and linear models to provide a continuous louvered face style diffuser option.

They provide a smooth, even horizontal air discharge and can be used in ceilings and with fan-coil units. They are available with slot widths from 100 to 200 mm and 1- and 2-way discharge patterns. MBD can be supplied in linear runs to any required length. Three standard border details enable these diffusers to match most popular ceiling designs. End flanges are optionally available.

These diffusers are made of aluminium and supported by a comprehensive range of plenum boxes. For volume control, screwdriver operated opposed-blade dampers can be fitted to the back of the diffuser. Alternatively, the plenum inlet can be fitted with quadrant or iris dampers. For adjustment through the face, cord- and Teleflex-operated spigot dampers can be installed.
