Foam sealant helps meet Part L

The Froth-Pak foam machine from Dow Building Solutions is designed to inject foam polyurethane sealant to control air leakage from buildings and insulate gaps, cracks, cavities and joints in the building envelope. It can also be used for sealing in doors and windows and at roof/wall intersections.

The contents of two pressurised tanks are delivered to a dispensing gun and react to produce a froth-like substance that quickly expands to up to five times its original volume. The foam takes about a minute to solidify and becomes a solid, permanent structure in about five minutes.
