Self Energy teams up with South Bank in knowledge transfer partnership

Self Energy, which specialises in decentralised energy-generation solutions, is to collaborate with London South Bank University to reduce the risks associated with energy performance projects. The knowledge transfer partnership agreement will provide a role within Self Energy for a sustainable energy performance systems developer, a full-time appointment for three years that LSBU will sponsor simultaneously through a masters programme.

The developer will work full time at the company, but will be employed by London South Bank University. Paul Lewis, CEO of Self Energy UK, commented, ‘We are excited to be working in such close collaboration with LSBU, which is well known as an academic leader of low-carbon solutions for the built environment. I have no doubt the new role will bring substantial benefits to the individual, to us and to LSBU.’
