TMV is quick to install

Douglas Delabie, TMV, DHW

Douglas Delabie’s ES L-Pattern thermostatic mixing valve is said to be up to 40% quicker to install than other valves. It is designed for use with wash hand basins, showers and bidets in higher-risk and healthcare applications. This TMV enables the temperature of water to a bath to be set at a maximum temperature of 44 to 46°C to minimise the risk of scalding.

The device can be installed in line to simplify and reduce fitting time. Its L pattern and minimal joints make it appropriate for retrofit work. They are available in standard format for 15 and 22 mm connections.

The anti-scale temperature is set under the cap with an Allen key. For total safety, a cold-water failsafe check must be carried out by the installer when the installation has been completed.

These valves are BuildCert TMV3 Scheme approved and independently tested a certified to NHS Estates DO8 specification.
